There are over 1,200,000 Rotarians worldwide and over 34,000 Rotary Clubs in over 200 countries. The members in all of our clubs are highly dedicated humanitarians who contribute and volunteer their time and effort in many projects throughout the world. We are dedicated to eliminating many diseases including polio. Worldwide hunger, contaminated water and literacy projects are emphasized during the 2009-2010 year.

Our motto is "Service Above Self". In addition to helping others, we have many events and meetings in which our club assists the citizens of Brea. We help our local schools, including our local Head Start Program, which is a pre-school for low income children. We also support the Senior Citizens and other nonprofit groups in and near our community.

We are proud of our commitment to helping others who are in need of our services. Our thirty members meet weekly on Tuesday's at noon at the Brea Community Center (corner of Madison & Randolph). Our members and their families have a great deal of fun and friendship at all of our events.

If you are interested in becoming a Rotarian, please call me at (714) 784-3459. We are always looking for people who want to "give back to their community".  In summary, I invite you to join our club and soon thereafter, you will be proud to be a Rotarian.
